Daniela Chana, born in Vienna in 1985, completed her doctorate in comparative literature at the University of Vienna. Her poetry collection “Sagt die Dame” (Limbus Verlag, 2018) was selected as one of the poetry recommendations of the German Academy for Language and Literature in 2019. This was followed by the short story collection “Neun seltsame Frauen” (Limbus Verlag, 2021), which earned her a nomination on the shortlist for the Austrian Book Prize in 2021. She regularly writes essays on various topics of everyday life for the daily newspaper Die Presse.
